What this site is
StudentGrantCalculator.ie estimates your SUSI student grant for the 2026/27 academic year: enter household income, family size and distance to college, and see the maintenance band, fee support and monthly payment you could be awarded. Guides cover grant rates, payment dates and how to apply.
It was built because the official eligibility tables are spread across several pages, and students just want to know one thing: how much.
Where the data comes from
All thresholds, rates and payment dates come from the official tables published on susi.ie, with each figure pinned by automated tests.
How it stays accurate
A watcher compares the site’s figures against susi.ie every Monday. When SUSI publishes new-year tables (usually after the Budget), the site is updated within days.
Who runs it
StudentGrantCalculator.ie is a personal project, built and maintained by an independent web developer. It is free to use and not affiliated with any government body or official organisation. The tools here are provided for convenience; for decisions that matter, always confirm with the official source.
